Who could become El Rancho’s next homecoming royalty?

Homecoming nominations are in their final stage before the official announcement next week. Instead of voting for a random name, get to know the homecoming king and queen candidates to secure your final vote.

Kimberly Diez De Sollano is running for homecoming queen. She is the captain of the varsity cheer team and the ASB president. She enjoys reading books, going on adventures with her friends, and going to cheer practice.

Ryan Vasquez is running for homecoming king. He is one of the captains of the varsity football team. He enjoys going to the beach, cooking, and working out at the gym. People should vote for him because he is responsible, kind, and helpful.

Daniel Lemus is running for homecoming king. He is one of the captains of the boys basketball team. He enjoys music and his favorite artists include Bad Bunny and Kai-Cenat. Why should you vote for him? Daniel says. “I represent all of the short kings of El Rancho.”

Yammile Picon is running for homecoming queen. She is captain of the girls varsity volleyball team, soccer team, and track team. She enjoys journaling and cooking. Cooking challenges her to learn about the creativity that comes with inventing original dishes. “Shoutout Chef Luna for sparking that interest” said Picon. People should vote for her because she is an “average Joe” who loves to laugh and hang out with people. 

Paul Lopez is running for homecoming king, He plays shortstop and second base for the varsity baseball team. Entrepreneuring is something that interests him and he enjoys spending time with his family. People should vote for him because he feels like he would represent the school in a positive way because he is actively involved in campus activities and academics.

Trinity Ybarra is running for homecoming queen. She enjoys shopping at Target, eating at different restaurants, and spending quality time with those she loves. People should vote for her because she has empathy for others and is able to connect with many people on a personal level. 

George Hurtado is running for homecoming king. He is on the varsity boys basketball team. He enjoys spending time with his friends. People should vote or him because he feels it would be a fun experience to win something in high school. 

Emily Marquez  is running for homecoming queen. She enjoys doing her hair and makeup for fun. She is a part of the senior class skit for night pep rally. People should vote for her because she thinks it would be an amazing experience to win something in high school.

Javier Zepeda  is running for homecoming king. He is on the boys volleyball team and enjoys spending quality time with his family. People should vote for him because he decided to step out of his comfort zone and try something different by running for a position.
