As a Christian, I believe that the God of the Bible is the only true God who created the universe. He made one man and woman named Adam and Eve who disobeyed God by eating from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil (Genesis 2:16-17). When they did this, sin entered into the world, and death spread to all Mankind (Romans 5:12). God had a plan to defeat death, though it was to send his son Jesus Christ. To die on the cross for our sins to have eternal life. So this begs the question: what happens after death?
According to the Bible, when you die, your soul will go up to a different realm and be in a line full of other souls of people. As you wait, you will see the Almighty God call upon people’s names and judge them based on their lives on Earth. So when it is finally your turn to face God, it can be scary. Whether you believe in him or not, it will be frightening. So God might ask you, “Why should I let you in my kingdom”?
Then, you will give your verdict if you have one. God will show you all your sins on Earth, and there will be two outcomes. The first is that you have kept your sins in your life and never repented and trusted in Jesus. God will probably say, “I have died for you and your sins, but you never repented and trusted in my son Jesus, and for this reason, you shall not enter my kingdom.” “I have never known you, your name will not be in the Book of Life, and you have made your decision,” God says in this last sentence in verse (Matthew 7:21-23). The second outcome would be realizing your sins and what God did to forgive you; you repented and trusted in his son, Jesus Christ. God will probably say, “You have sinned but repented and trusted my son.” “You will spend eternal life with me where there will be no suffering, pain, sickness, or death.” I only give the reader ideas on what He might say and do according to the Bible.
