The anticipated renovation of El Rancho’s library is finally complete. After being under renovation and temporarily relocated in Q-3 earlier this year, it returned in this new school year with a fresh welcome of its clean and improved design of its original.
Throughout the first 2 weeks of school many students have come by to spend time doing their work, spending time with friends, reading books or simply relaxing in chairs.
“When I first stepped in to see the new library I was amazed at how everything looks so nice and modern” says Devin Medina who is a senior and long time visitor of the El Rancho library.
John Valdez who is another senior says, “I think it’s a good improvement, I personally like the new motion sensor lights that are added on the bookshelves, at first they caught me off guard but I think it adds depth to our library.”
The library features minimalist clean and up to date furniture that gives it a modern feel and extended space for more bookshelves than before.
If you want to stop by and see the library, stop by in the morning to receive a library pass from Mrs. Metaxas and also spend time studying or finding a new favorite book.
