A benefit concert, FireAid, will be held and streamed on multiple platforms on January 30, 2025. This concert is here to support the communities that were affected by the recent LA wildfires. The concert is set to take place at both the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum, where many popular artists are showing their love and support for the Los Angeles communities.
Artists like Billie Eilish, Gracie Abrams, Lady Gaga, and many more will offer their support by performing at the Intuit Dome. Meanwhile, other artists such as Green Day, No Doubt, and Stevie Nicks will be offering a different tune just a four-minute drive away!
Each ticket costs $99 and all proceeds from the FireAid concert, along with direct donations, will be administered through the Annenberg Foundation to fund short-term relief efforts, as well as fire prevention initiatives throughout Southern California.
“I think it is such a beautiful thing that so many artists volunteered their time and efforts into this benefit concert,” says Rayne Gonzalez. “I have never seen so many people band together to raise money for wildfires ever before.”
Tickets went on sale on Wednesday, Jan. 22, but there are still so many different ways to view the concert. Streaming services like YouTube, Netflix, and the Apple TV app are streaming the concert for everyone to see. If you don’t feel like watching on a small screen like a television, select AMC theaters will also broadcast both the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum concerts.
“I was a little sad about not being able to go to the concert in person,” says Julia Gabriel. “Even though it was a little disheartening that I wasn’t able to watch the concert in person, once I found out that they would be showing it at AMC theaters, I raced to find one that was showing the concert.”
Even if you aren’t a big fan of the artists playing the concert, but still want to donate, FireAid is taking monetary donations that go to the same cause on their website, https://fireaidla.org/#donateToday.
