After the recent fires in Los Angeles County, Pico Rivera gladly offered free boarding to horse and livestock owners affected by the recent fires at the Pico Rivera Sports Arena. This was made possible by partnering with The City of Pico Rivera and La Noria Entertainment.
The Pico Rivera Sports Arena is able to keep the animals safe and protected. This is helping bring peace to the owners of the animals, knowing they have a safe place for them to stay while they try to recover from the stress the fires caused them. With the amazing facilities they have, they will be able to board up to 100 horses.
“Today I am proud to announce that the Pico Rivera Sports Arena has been designated as an emergency shelter for horses and large livestock displaced by the fires. This critical response underscores our city’s commitment to supporting neighbors in their time of need.” said Pico Rivera Mayor John Garica
This was extremely generous of the Pico Rivera Mayor, and it is amazing to see how Pico Rivera supports other cities when they need it the most.
The owner of La Noria Entertainment and the manager of the Pico Rivera Sports Arena were more than welcome to open their doors for people needing boarding for their animals. It is amazing to see the support Pico Rivera is giving to the people needing it the most and to see them be able to support in any way they can.
