As March begins, it is also the month that UC applicants will start receiving their decisions from the most popular public universities in all of California.
These campuses include UC Berkeley, UC Irvine, UC Davis, UC Los Angeles, UC Merced, UC Riverside, UC San Diego, UC Santa Cruz, and UC Santa Barbara.
Are you still waiting to hear back from your dream University of California? Here’s a list of important dates to keep in mind for this month:
UC Berkeley – Decisions will be available to view on March 27, 2025 in the late afternoon via MAP@Berkeley.
UC Irvine – Not officially confirmed, but decisions will possibly be available to view between March 7-March 14, 2025 via UCI Applicant Portal.
UC Davis – Not officially confirmed, but decisions will possibly be available to view between March 7-14, 2025 via UC Davis Applicant Portal.
UCLA – Not officially confirmed, but decisions will possibly be available by March 14-16, 2025 via UCLA Portal.
UC Merced – Decisions started releasing back in December 2024, so check UC Merced Portal for your status.
UC Riverside – Decisions started releasing at the end of February, so check MyUCR for your status.
UC San Diego – Not officially confirmed, but decisions will possibly be available by March 22, 2025 via UCSD Portal.
UC Santa Cruz – The first round of decisions dropped at the end of February. The rest of their decisions will be available to view on March 20, 2025 via MyUCSC.
UC Santa Barbara – Decisions will be available to view on March 18, 2025 via UCSB Applicant Portal.
If you are waitlisted for any of these campuses, each will mostly release admission decisions that are on the waitlist between May and July.
The deadline to commit to any of these UC campuses is May 1, 2025. It’s also important to consider visiting the campuses you wish to attend and talk to family before coming to a decision on where you will be attending.
