Are you a high school senior graduating in 2025 and planning to attend college in the fall? Do you live in the Pico Water District service area? If so, here’s your chance to earn $500 to help support your educational goals!
The Pico Water District Board of Directors is proud to offer two (2) $500 scholarships to students in our community who are passionate about public service, environmental awareness, and water conservation.
This scholarship is designed to encourage continuing education, promote awareness of water-related issues, and support students who are considering careers in the water industry or simply want to make a difference.
Scholarship Details:
- Award: Two scholarships of $500 each
- Who’s Eligible:
- Must graduate from high school in 2025
- Must plan to attend a college or university in Fall 2025
- Must live within the Pico Water District service area
- Must submit a copy of the Pico Water District water bill as proof of residency
- Application Deadline:
April 30, 2025 by 4:30 PM

What You’ll Need:
- Completed application form
- Typed answers to questions about your community service, school activities, awards, and job experience
- A 500-word essay on what conservation means to you and why it matters
- A copy of your household’s Pico Water District water bill
The scholarships will be awarded at the next regular Board of Directors meeting following the deadline. If selected, the funds will be sent directly to your college and can be used for tuition, fees, or books!
