It is that time of the year where both the AB and BC Calculus students start on their end of the year projects. Although this course is a rigorous math class, Mr. Francis uses this time to blend both creativity and math into one end of the year project.

“I really like the liberty that comes with this project. I get to work with my friends on an album where we turn The Smiths songs into calculus related songs,” says senior Samantha De La Rosa. “I’m looking forward to recording the songs and making our debut as “The Slopes.”
This project allows students to take a complicated subject, like Calculus, into a more simple, fun, activity to let students enjoy the rest of the school year.
