The second game of the season was the Dons’ Home Opener against Bell Gardens. After starting the season with a win, the Dons fell short to the Lancers 14-7. Madrid III had a total of 76 all-purpose yards. The Dons’ offense had 282 all-purpose yards, but no touchdowns. The defense for the Dons had a total of 54 Tackles. The Dons’ only Touchdown came from a blocked punt, with Junior Matthew Argueta returning the block for the touchdown.
The Dons are looking to bounce back tonight against West Covina. Covina is looking to bounce back as well after being defeated by Los Altos 21-7.
