Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, founder of the organization Turning Point USA, which addressed politics and young voters, passed away. Kirk was famous for his speeches, debates, and blunt opinions on university campuses. Some supported his ideas, while others opposed them greatly, and that typically brought him into the spotlight. His passing has provoked reactions from students, fans, and politicians across the nation. He is remembered by some for urging young people to be political activists, while others make observations about the controversy with his work. Charlie Kirk’s influence on modern-day political discourse will not be forgotten.

Diego Morales, Staff Writer
Hi! I’m Diego Morales, I am 17 years old and I’m a senior at El Rancho high school. This is my first semester in journalism. I grew up in Pico Rivera my whole life. I am an only child which is pretty rare. I enjoy playing tennis and video games, but I also enjoy watching baseball and football for fun! One thing I would like to take from this journalism class is to get better at writing and being able to become more social.
