Monday, September 15th, El Rancho High School hosted there annual college fair, providing many benefits for those who attended.
The college fair offered students opportunities to connect with various colleges and universities, ranging from community colleges to private universities. Over 40 representatives came to answer questions that students had for them, providing students with insight into all their questions about academic pathways, programs, campus life, and the guidance they need for their future education.
The college fair stands out as one of the most valuable events that is hosted by El Rancho High School and the college and career center. The college fair gives students many opportunities to explore a huge variety of colleges and universities, helping students understand their academic interest and their goals.
Unlike researching, physically attending the college fair gives a more engaging experience. Students are given one-on-one discussions with college representatives, gaining firsthand knowledge about any college-related matters.
Additionally, the college fair featured representatives from many branches of the U.S military. Students were able to speak with representatives and learned about different career paths after High School. Students gained insight on different training programs and educational benefits that the military can offer, helping students evaluate if the military is a better fit for them.
