Against Montebello, the final score was 34-0. Quarterback Adrian Lopez had a great game with 117 passing yards, along with two touchdown passes. The defense had an amazing performance as well, with a shutout and only allowing 10 passing yards. Javier Hernandez led the Dons’ defence with 14 tackles and two tackles for a loss.
The 27-17 victory over Fontana High School was historic, with cornerback Isaiah Sandoval recording four interceptions, breaking a school record, and also putting him in the top five for most interceptions in the state of California high school football. The Dons’ offense was electric as well, with running back Braylon Morrison recording 194 all-purpose yards with 2 touchdowns.
Concluding the bye week, the Dons are going up against their toughest league opponent, La Serna. The Lancers are coming into the game with a record of 3-3, after facing fierce competition. Their last game was a narrow 23-21 victory over Edison High School.
