AI will have a negative impact on the future due to how harmful it is to the environment. To be able to function properly, AI uses large amounts of water and high energy. AI relies heavily on fossil fuels since they are used as electricity for data centers.

When you ask AI a question, it goes through multiple calculations to get the best answer from a physical data center. Data centers heat up too and use water so the service doesn’t overheat. AI uses at least 18,000 to 550,000 gallons per day. This amount of water adds up to at least over 50 million gallons per month.

AI is not only damaging our environment but is also stealing art from artists, writers, and musicians. It is stealing art from people who work hard and are passionate about their careers. Using AI to make art is being lazy. If people who have disabilities, such as famous painter Michelangelo, who had severe arthritis in his hands and feet, are able to make art, then anybody is able to make art. 

AI has been known for taking jobs not only from artists but also from people such as customer service representatives. There have already been more than 10,000 job cuts due to AI. People such as actors may even lose their jobs in the future due to AI actress Tilly Norwood. It is thought that 300 million jobs may be lost to AI in the future if AI continues to take over.
