The Dodgers have dominated this postseason, securing a 3-0 lead over the Milwaukee Brewers. What was supposed to be a down year has been nothing but surprising as the Dodgers show their true form in October once again.
Last night the Dodgers won 3-1 in game 3 of the National League Championship to put them 1 win away from the World Series.
Tyler Glasnow was the starting pitcher last night and was able to pitch 5.2 strong innings. The bullpen then came to pitch 3.1 innings, with Roki Sasaki closing out the game with dominant power. Tommy Edman came up with a huge RBI single in the 6th inning to take the lead, and then came Freddie Freeman with a run after an error by pitcher Uribe to take the lead 3-1.
Milwaukee has been nothing but a disappointment, as they came first in the National League and have only been able to score one run per game through this series so far. Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski showed great performance as a rookie but could not handle the pressure as he gave up the go-ahead run for the Dodgers in the 6th.
Although the Dodgers have this impressive lead, it is still possible to lose, as there has been 1 comeback in 41 series that came back from a 3-0 deficit.
Shohei Ohtani is set to take the mound tonight to complete the series sweep against the Brewers at 5:38PM.
