Opinion: Beetlejuice is the ghoulest Halloween movie

Beetlejuice is the best movie to watch during the spooky season because it is very funny and not too scary to watch. 

The 1988 Tim Burton movie has been watched millions of times by families during Halloween. Beetlejuice is a comedy movie where a ghost couple is trying to kick out a family that moves into the home they haunt, but end up summoning Beetlejuice to help them.

During the movie, we see a lot of great face makeup, perfect for recreation and Halloween inspiration. Watching Beetlejuice will always be fun for kids of all ages. The movie has more humor than horror which makes it more enjoyable for the whole family. 

While Beetlejuice is a wacky and fun character that takes the forefront, other characters are interesting to watch too like Lydia Deetz, one of the family members moving in.

 Lydia is one of the best characters in the movie because of her character development. We get to understand that she is more than just a goth girl. Lydia has a great dark sense of humor that I find entertaining. 

Though it is rated PG-13, it is still a top favorite to watch with my siblings. Beetlejuice also has a lot of great music like Day-o. The movie has a lot of amazing costumes for both the monsters and the main characters. The costumes and songs fit the Halloween vibes making it a perfect choice to get into the spooky spirit. Overall, the movie is very entertaining and is great to watch with your family after trick or treating.
