In Pico Rivera, good food isn’t something that’s hard to find. Foods ranging from classic tacos to steakhouses Pico has it all. If you are in the area, here are 5 restaurants that you need to try.

1.Mira’s Grill

Mira’s Grill is a primary Persian restaurant located at 6001 Rosemead Blvd. If you want to try something new, this place is perfect. The service is great and the food is mouthwatering. 

Whether it be chicken and lamb or beef and steak, you will not be left disappointed. The restaurant is vegetarian-friendly, providing delicious meatless dishes such as the Vegetarian Baghali Polo, made up of Basmati Rice and Lima Beans, or maybe you want to try the Vegetarian Fesenjan, a Persian walnut stew made with ground walnuts and pomegranate molasses.

You can’t go wrong at this restaurant! 

2. Mario’s Tacos

If you’re in the mood for Mexican Food, Mario’s Tacos is where you want to be. 

Mario Jimenez was an immigrant from Mexico with a dream. Mario’s Tacos was born after he had moved to the United States from Mexico. At first, the business was struggling. Mario’s discipline and diligence is what drove the restaurant to its success. On August 12, 1988, the Jimenez family was recognized at the White House as one of the six Great American Families. Now, the restaurant is owned by Celia Jimenez, Mario’s wife. 

Coming straight from the heart of the Jimenez family, Mario’s Tacos serves some of the best authentic Mexican food in Southern California. 

Their green chile verde burritos are out-of-this-world. The shredded beef tacos are highly recommended and won’t let you down. Stop by Mario’s Tacos if you’re looking for authentic Mexican Food!

3.Clearman’s Steak ‘n Stein

Clearman’s Steak ‘n Stein is perfect for meat lovers. Rated 4.5/5 stars, Steak ‘n Stein lives up to its rating and will leave you satisfied. 

The traditional American steakhouse is located on 9545 Whittier Blvd and people are willing to drive hours to get a taste of the food served at this establishment. 

The most popular dish served is the prime rib. A perfect balance of juiciness and tenderness, the prime rib is rich in flavor and well worth the price. The Stein Potato, another favored dish, is a large baked potato stuffed with strips of Filet Mignon, Rib Eye, and Top Sirloin, cooked with onions, bell peppers, and topped with provolone cheese. 

Talk about mouth-watering, you can’t go wrong with Clearman’s Steak ‘n Stein.

4.The Dal Rae 

Up for fine dining? Dal Rae is the perfect choice. 

As soon as you arrive you will be greeted by valets and hosts that will welcome and usher you inside. The staff is very friendly and the service is excellent. Immediately, the ambiance in the restaurant will evoke a feeling of elegance to go along with the use of dim lighting and calming jazz music. 

The menu consists primarily of steak and seafood. If you’re a steak fan, you must try the Filet Mignon served at Dal Rae. It is considered to be top-notch and a must-try. If there’s still room for dessert, the Creme Brulee is highly recommended. Enjoy!

5. King Taco

A familiar establishment, King Taco is located on 6722 Rosemead Blvd. Pico Rivera is fortunate to have a location, as there are 22 locations throughout the San Bernardino and Los Angeles area. 

If you are looking to quench your thirst, King Taco offers savory horchatas that will satisfy your needs. Their beloved sopes, made up of beans, your choice of meat, shredded cabbage, cottage cheese, and their famous salsa, are worth trying at least once in your life. Stop by King Taco when you’re in the area!

    I grew up in Pico Rivera. The list is absolutely correct !!!!! However, they forgot to mention “Casa Garcia♥️“ The Absolute BEST Nachos Ever !!!! So Delicious and Fresh Ingredients !!!! To mention, the Red Salsa on the side!! Makes it all complete !!!!!! An Absolute Must Try !!!!!!! ENJOY
