Snacks to keep you energized during the long school day

Figuring out what to eat can be difficult especially if you’re not super hungry. Maybe you just want a snack to eat in between classes or an afternoon snack. Here are 5 snacks you must try making.

1. Overnight Oats!

This is great for anyone who wants a quick and easy snack before school. To make it you first place your raw oats (chia seeds are optional) in a cup. Then, add any sweeteners of your choice for more flavor, such as yogurt and vanilla extract. Last, add the milk of your choice and place it in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

2. Rainbow Fruit Kabobs

This snack is extremely easy to make as it only requires fruit and skewers. It’s a mix of any fruit of your liking. It’s a great way to make eating fruit more interesting and fun.

3. Banana Sushi

This snack is for people who like the idea of how convenient and easy sushi is to eat. First, take your bread slice and cut it into two strips. Then cut your banana into several pieces about the same thickness as you cut the bread strips. Place Nutella on the bread strips and roll the bread with Nutella around. There you have it banana sushi!

4. Sandwich cubes

This snack a basically a mini sandwich. This is great for eating between classes or even a nice snack to bring out when having friends over. You take two crackers. Then place a cucumber slice, a turkey slice, and a cheese slice. That’s it! It is very simple but very delicious.

5. Apple Bites

This last one tastes like you are eating a candy apple! First, cut your apple into 6 pieces. Then spread peanut butter or caramel on the slices. Finally, sprinkle some granola on top.

These are very easy and very simple yet clever snacks you must try and bring to school to eat during your day.
