Review: Avatar: The Way of Water sparks controversy among fans, old and new

Avatar: The Way of Water, released December 16, 2022, has been long-awaited. Fans have eagerly anticipated the release of this film since 2009.
This film is set almost a decade after the events that took place in the original Avatar movie. Avatar: The Way of Water shows viewers the perspective of Jake Sully’s family as they attempt to evade the trouble that follows.
Avatar: The Way of Water has provided moviegoers with a viewing experience that reinvents CGI as we know it. This film displays vibrant colors, detailed graphics, and textures most CGI films fail to capture.
Although Avatar’s advanced graphics have been applauded by many, some viewers have described the film as entering the “uncanny valley” with clear graphics that look painfully fake.
Avatar 2 is a film worth watching. Whether you watch it for the stunning visuals or storyline, Avatar: The Way of The Water is a film that all movie lovers should watch at least once.
