Should Valentines day be the only day to show your loved ones you appreciate them?

Valentine’s Day, also called Saint Valentine’s Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is celebrated annually on February 14.

It is a holiday where people show off how much they love each other. They spoil each other and go out to nice places.

You may be wondering, what is the origin of Valentine’s day? It originated as a Christian feast day honoring one or two early Christian martyrs named Saint Valentine. It has become a significant cultural, religious, and commercial celebration of romance and love in many regions of the world.

I believe that Valentine’s day should be celebrated every day. There shouldn’t be just one special occasion where you give gifts and take out your loved ones.

I asked people if they think Valentine’s day should be for just one day. Here are their responses:

Desmond, a student at the Ranch stated, “No, because people always need to be expressed and show how much they are loved because they might die and you might not see them again.”

Isabella stated, “Love should be shown every day but it is not bad celebrating it as a holiday. I do agree that love should be around everywhere, every day, 24/7.

Kadie states, “ Valentine’s day is fun, especially if you have a person and get to exchange gifts and show love, but love should be every day.”

The answer is clear: Valentine’s day is fun and should be celebrated but we should show love all the time to everyone.
