Ways to ask someone to be your valentine

As it gets closer and closer to Valentine’s day, you may be wondering how to ask someone to be your valentine. Whether they are your crush or significant other, it is important to make it special. Here are some fun and interesting ideas:

  1. Surprise them with a sign and flowers

Although a rather simple idea, this is an excellent way to ask. It is subtle while still meaningful and can be an excellent way to make your valentine feel special and excited to spend Valentine’s day with you. Make sure to get them their favorite flowers and decorate the sign nicely!

      2. Bake!

This can be a clever way to ask and a fun process as well. If you love baking, this is an excellent way to go. You can make a cake or cupcakes and use frosting to write your message to your valentine. They will appreciate the effort and you can share a tasty treat with them too.

      3. Write a letter

If you are too shy or not a great talker, write it down! It can make it a lot easier to say what you want to say and can be just as romantic, if not more. It can be poetry or a simple writing down of your thoughts. Your valentine will cherish this letter and can always go back to it when they miss you.

      4. Ask them on a date

Taking them out somewhere is an excellent choice. It already sets the mood and can make it easier in the moment to ask. You can take them somewhere you know they like, and try to make it creative too! The more meaningful the better.
