Utility Box Mural Program gives beginner artists a fun opportunity

The Utility Box Mural Program is giving artists an opportunity to share their talents and creativity. 

This program is a great way to make the East Hollywood area more colorful and unique by displaying the artwork of talented individuals.

Many beginning and longtime artists have already taken advantage of this opportunity to share their work and handle.

This is a great way to get your name out there if your a starting artist because you are allowed to put both your name and handle on the additional sides of the utility box.

If you don’t have the money for the supplies needed to paint a utility box. You also have the option to apply for the 250 microgrant per round from the East Hollywood Neighborhood Council to paint the utility box if your design is accepted. 

The EHNC (East Hollywood Neighborhood Council)  is looking for designs that showcase the culture and history of East Hollywood or if you have a special connection with the area.
