Frank Ocean Coachella disaster

From April 14 to April 23 of 2023, Coachella took place. Frank Ocean planned to perform at Coachella and many fans were very excited to attend since he had not performed in front of an audience or made new music since the death of his brother. 

Many people bought tickets to Coachella purely to see Frank Ocean perform and were so excited to finally be able to see him live. The only reason why Frank decided to perform at Coachella in the first place was because he and his brother always used to love to go to those events.

During the first week, fans quickly grew upset as Frank was an hour late to perform causing him to only be able to perform for 40 minutes. People were aggravated by the fact that they paid money to see Frank perform just for it to be cut short.

Some fans even complained that he was only on screen rather than actually present. Fans that did see him perform in front of them complained that he did not have a mike for his performance and it felt like they were just singing to his music instead.

For the second week, he had fully canceled his performance making fans even more upset. He said that he had hurt his leg and therefore could not attend the second week.

Many were upset due to the fact that he has done things like this before and were hurt to have spent so much money just to see Frank and end up wasting money.

Overall, some fans were glad to see Frank while others felt very disappointed and many did not even get to see him at all. Many wonder if he will come out with future music and performances or if this is the last we see of Frank Ocean.
