Jaylene Ortiz, Social Media

Hi my name is Jaylene Ortiz and I am currently a Junior at El Rancho High School. I have been on the El Rodeo News Staff for a couple months now I just transferred to this class my 2nd semester. The section I participate in  for the El Rodeo news is the Twitter account(social media).  On twitter we share tweets about things that are going on in the world and we also tweet out information students may need to know about school and upcoming events. My favorite thing about the twitter platform is that our leader is very organized and there is no trouble. I am also a varsity cheerleader for our school. I have been cheering at the school all my 3 years and I will continue to my senior year. I really enjoy cheering for highschool because it really does get you involved in the school . In my free time I like to read sometimes and coloring helps me relax.

My senior year will be different but interesting. The school does plan on going back for next school year but of course with COVID regulations and rules to follow. I am excited but nervous to go back because I am so used to being home I feel like it would be weird to go back. I am happy the class of 2022 will get a better senior year then the last two senior classes
