My name is Juan Zuniga and I am 17 years old. I have been on the El Rodeo News Staff for a couple of months. My position on El Rodeo News is being a member of the Twitter account, I post tweets that will interest or inform people on certain subjects. During my time at El Rancho, I tried out many sports and then found that swimming was the one I really enjoyed. I joined during my sophomore year and progressed very quickly despite it being my first time swimming competitively. Unfortunately due to Covid season ended and I haven’t been In a pool since. Other things that tell you a little more about me are my hobbies or interests. Whenever I can, I go skate or snowboard whether it’s with friends or by myself. Both skateboarding and snowboarding are very therapeutic to me and it also challenges me everyday to learn something new or just get more consistent. Some other areas of interest I have are music, I really enjoy listening to classical or ambient music, but I’m also open to many other genres.

I will be attending Cal State La during the fall semester. I plan on double-majoring in psychology and criminology, hoping to get a career in criminal psychology in the future.
