My name is Melony Lomeli, I am 17 years old, and this is my first year in journalism. I am a senior and I am part of the social media team for El Rodeo. I am the oldest daughter of nine kids! I moved from South Central Los Angeles to Pico Rivera about 4 years ago. I like living in Pico because there’s a strong community and mostly everyone here has lived here for their whole lives. I enjoy listening to music, traveling, and overall hanging out with my family. My favorite thing to do with my family is having movie night and coming together at least once a week for it.
