I am a senior at El Rancho High and this is my first year as a journalist for El Rodeo News. Other than Journalism, I am a full IB Diploma student, President of the Engineering Club, Football, IB Club, and photography on the side. I was convinced to play during my first year of football and I began liking the sport. I took it seriously and got into varsity. Sadly, I couldn’t play due to the risk of getting covid and spreading it to my family. My daily schedule is school, workout, eat, homework, and repeat. I’ve adopted the hobby of biking around, usually biking 15 miles or more. The pandemic has made me open up to new things such as guitar playing. I have truly learned how to time manage, although failing in the beginning.
