There are different ways to have fun, for example, playing games! I am not talking about only digital games or mobile games. I’m talking about card games, board games, and even outdoor games.

Nowadays, everyone is constantly on their phones, including myself. But this year, I’ve realized the importance of spending time with family and friends.

I am a big fan of Mario Cart but I also realized how nice it feels to be outdoors and enjoy the sun. Here are games that you can play with your family and friends whilst being outdoors.

Card games

There are so many different card games to choose from but my favorite card games to play with others are Speed, Monopoly Deal, and Contract Rummy. Speed is for anyone who loves numbers and a fast-paced game. Monopoly Deal is a spinoff of the infamous Monopoly board game, but instead of a board you only have cards. Contract Rummy is a game that requires persistence and has the same attributes as making a puzzle.

Board Games

Once again, there are so many different board games to choose from but some board games that I think everyone should try at least once are Candy Land, Monopoly, and Clue. Candy Land is definitely child friendly and has some very funny characters to encounter while playing. Monopoly is a classic but also requires strategic moves and a little sass. Clue is for anyone who loves mystery and secretly wants to be a detective.

Outdoor games

Being outdoors and enjoying the sun is one of my favorite things to do because I can hang out with my friends and gain some vitamin D at the same time. Some outdoor games besides the traditional ones are cornhole, sardines, and capture the flag.  Cornhole is a staple, especially for outdoor BBQs. Sardines is a reversed version of hide and seek, and very fun. Capture the Flag is very similar to football but adds the twist of flags to get other players out.

There are so many games to play but they don’t necessarily have to run on wifi or become a competition. Games can be a way to spend time with friends and family laughing and having fun.
