El Rodeo

Aaron Aguiar, Staff Writer

I am a Senior at El Rancho High and this is my first year as a journalist for El Rodeo News.  My favorite topic to write about is sports in particular the Champions League, and hopefully one day I can pursue a career as a football pundit/journalist. Other than Journalism, I am in AVID and I play soccer here at El Rancho.  Soccer is and will always be my passion and I have a ball at my feet since I can remember.  Also, I play club soccer for a local team by the name of Pico Gunners.  My daily schedule is always filled up with soccer practices and games.  When I am not playing soccer-which is not very often-I like to cruise around with my bike.  It was a hobby that I picked up over the quarantine and I have really enjoyed going to new places on my bike and taking up the scenery along the way.

Being a Senior, I had to go through the tedious process of picking a college.  At the end of it all, I have decided to pack my bags and head to San Diego and attend the University of California San Diego.  At UCSD, I will continue my journalism journey and I hope to gain more knowledge and expertise in the field of journalism.
