Pico Riviera youth ages 5-17 have a chance to step out of the classroom and into nature with a free trip to Moonwater Farm on Sunday, March 29, 2026 (8:15a.m.-2:30p.m) through the Rio Hondo Park Nature Program. This hand-on experience allows students to explore how farms work and how water, soil, plants, and animals are all connected.
Participants will enjoy guided tours and creative workshops like seed saving and incense making, helping them understand where food comes from and why sustainability matters. The bus departs at 8:30a.m. from Pico Park (9526 Beverly Blvd., CA 90660), and lunch is provided.
Registration closes March 19 or when spots are full, so families are encouraged to sign up early for this fun and educational outdoor adventure.
