As the midway point of the first semester approaches, El Rancho High School will be having this year’s first huge school event: Night Pep Rally! Night Pep Rally is one of the school’s most anticipated events, including all classes gathering on this special night to bring their school spirit to a whole new level.
For this year’s NPR, here are the classes’ themes and colors: Freshman with Grease/red & pink, Sophomores with Finding Nemo/green & orange, Juniors with Goosebumps/black & purple, and Seniors with Toy Story/blue & yellow!
Senior Victoria Morales says, “I’m excited to be a part of the school spirit and cheer with all my friends and classmates to win for most spirited. I also hope to see more fun, hysterical games as well as the senior skit and what they have prepared this year, making it more enjoyable for everyone.”
Her friend Natalie Vidrio also mentions, “I am excited for all the games, specifically musical chairs. I’m super excited to see my friends and to dress up as characters from Toy Story.”
“I do have a few options for my outfit to fit the senior theme. Some of them are Bo Peep, Jessie, Woody, and even Buzz Lightyear! The theme is very good that there are so many characters to choose from! I hope everyone is creative with their outfits and be as festive as possible!” says senior Marilyn Tafolla.
Junior Arianna Reyes shares as well, “I’m especially excited for the Night Pep Rally this year because I’m a part of the skit so I’m looking forward to dressing up and having fun with my friends. I’m hoping to see my grade level finally come together and be enthusiastic about scoring points because the energy was not there for the last two!”
Incoming freshmen like Jose and Nicole Navarro mention they are most excited for “experiencing NPR for the first time and seeing how competitive the classes get throughout the night”.
This year’s Night Pep Rally will be one for the books for everyone, and we can’t wait to see what all the classes and skits have in store for everyone. Save the date for this special event on October 24, 2024 at 7:00pm and wear your class spirit with pride!
