George Sierra is a former Salazar student, but now he is a Don, but doesn’t feel at home. He’s expressed that it is much harder here at El Rancho then it is at Salazar. When asked why he thought it much easier over at Salazar than El Rancho, George explained that it was more independent over there then here. “I miss Salazar because it was easy, the teachers gave full support to the students, and they were chill,” he said. He loves showing off his Salazar shirt to his friends because of how much he misses Salazar.

George has explained that it was much easier to manage a job at Salazar than it is in El Rancho because they have a shorter schedule than us. He has two jobs as a high school senior and he has been keeping up with school and his job, which could be difficult for many people. But for him, it’s really easy to keep up with everything. He loved how he was able to control how his day basically looked. When asked if he would go back to Salazar if he had the chance, he stated excitedly, “I would love to go back to Salazar if I had a chance to.”
