I do think college should be free because education is very important in today’s world. Many high school students work very hard to go to college but are getting held back from the cost of tuition. Making college free would give everyone a chance to continue their education, no matter their financial situation.

Another reason college should be free is that students wouldn’t have debt at all. Millions of students that graduate owe a lot of money, which can affect them in the future financially like buying a house or starting a career. If colleges were free, students would just focus on building their future instead of worrying about debt. College being free will help a lot of people not worrying about how they will pay back their debt or if they can even continue going to school. 

Free college would benefit students for their future, and society would be better off. A more educated population leads to better job opportunities, better incomes, and a stronger economy. For these reasons, college should be free for everyone.
