Bringing extinct animals back to life sounds exciting, but it also raises some serious questions. While the idea of seeing creatures like the woolly mammoth or dodo again is fascinating, we need to think about the consequences. Not every scientific breakthrough automatically means it’s the right choice for our world.
Reviving extinct animals could help scientists learn more about the past and possibly fix mistakes humans made. However, these species went extinct for a reason, and the environment they lived in might not exist anymore. Bringing them back could cause unexpected problems in today’s ecosystems.
Instead of spending millions to revive animals from the past, we should focus on protecting the wildlife we still have. Many species today are endangered and need immediate help to survive. In my opinion, saving the animals currently at risk is more important than trying to bring back the ones we already lost.
