I don’t think schools should have dress codes because I think students should be free to wear whatever they want, as long as it’s appropriate. Schools shouldn’t control what students wear because when they do most students can feel trapped and feel like they can’t express themselves. I believe what someone wears does not determine their ability to learn or succeed in school, which some schools would disagree with. 

Dress codes shouldn’t be implemented because in some schools they only really care about what the girls wear and not the guys. I don’t think that schools should worry about how a student dresses, but worry about respect and behavior in classes. I wouldn’t like to feel trapped or uncomfortable in clothes that I don’t want to wear. 

Overall, schools shouldn’t have strict dress codes because they limit how students express themselves and can be unfair. Students should be comfortable and confident in what they wear, without worrying about what they aren’t allowed to wear.
