This role is portrayed with ups and downs by the intermediate acting from the lead actress Dakota Johnson, her performance brings a sense of dignity to the character, capturing the essence of a figure who is both wise and mysterious.

Having a target on their backs, no resolution is done until the very end of the film. It’s as if the director would want more from these roles but there is nothing much said and done about it.  From coincidences to allies, each character brings a bland perspective to the story.
